Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can Betanal be tank mixed with other herbicides?
A: Betanal cannot be mixed with herbicides other than Tramat 500SC as results have shown antagonistic effects between herbicides and damage control.

Q: At label rates, will I get any soil residual weed control effect?
A: No. Betanal is a contact herbicide, level of control is determined by what is contacted at the time of application.

Q: If using Betanal on its own is causing filter blockages during spraying, should I tank mix Tramat with Betanal to avoid the problem?
A: Betanal on its own has a history of causing filter blockage problems, however it is widely recognised that the addition of Tramat will alleviate the problem.
